The Shadyside Boosters hosted the 1st Annual Big Cat Linemen Challenge on Saturday, July 24 at Fleming Field.
The competition is designed to get your team's linemen working and competing together while establishing unit chemistry! The Challenge allows players to use, speed, agility, quickness and strength while incorporating explosiveness, foot movement and leverage - the staples of line play!
The 2010 Big Cat Lineman Challenge saw 5 schools and 39 young men enter the competiton. The schools were Union Local, Magnolia, Zanesville Rosecrans, Bellaire and Shadyside. Competiton began at 10:00 in the morning and completed at 2:30 that afternoon.
